At the court of our sovereign lord the King and Court Baron of John Delahay esq. lord of the said mannors kept at the dwelling house of William Jones of the parish of Michaelchurch Eckly the tweny eighth day of October in the ninth year of the reign of our sovereign lord George the second by the grace of God of Great Britain, France & Ireland king defender of the faith etc. And in the year of our lord 1735. Before Thomas Williams gent. steward.

Imprimis We the jurors sworn and impannelled to inquire for our sovereign lord the king and lord of these mannors, Do present, As followeth.
We present that Thomas Smith, Charles Price, Thomas Griffiths and Thomas Prosser, tenants of this mannor who owe suit and service to this court & have been duly summoned to appear at this court as appears by the oath of the baileif of this mannor, That they have made default , and for such their default we amerce them in the sum of three shillings & four pence. And affeard to as follows

We present that it appears unto us not only upon the certification of Mr John Price one of this jury but upon the oath of Richard Thomas one other of the jurors that Thomas Griffiths hath neglected to set up a gate and amend his hedge between his ground called Cae Mawr and lands of the said John Price called Errow Glideer according to a pain laid upon him at the last court (of which the said Thos Griffithis had due notice given him) by means whereof the said Thomas Griffiths hath incurred the penalty of 13s 4d to be levied on his goods and chattels pursuant to a presentment at last court.
