Unattributed sketch of Whitehouse dated 1812, showing a very substantial Tudor style oak-framed manor house of traditional black-and-white construction.

Observations:

It is interesting to note what appear to be various external timber props shown in the sketch, suggesting that the building may have been structurally unsound at that time.
