To daughter, Anne, £3 6 0d 'due unto me at michell [Michaelmas] next following and thirty shillings more to my daughter Anne being due unto me at our Lords Day the next following being p[ar]te of the money due unto me from my Brother John'.
?? To daughter, Constance, 40/- 'being the residue of the said seven pounds from my said brother John and £3 more to my said daughter Constance' to be paid her at Michaelmas 1631.
To son, John, v^li ' videl: x^li at Michaelmas 1631 and the other £3 at thanuncation [the Annunciation of our Lady or Lady Day the 25 March] next following. [This is confusing with a legacy of £5 and then this being shown to be made up of £13, probably the x^li although absolutely clear in the original was a misprint for x^s -see the next legacy]???? ????
To daughter, Johan, v^li [£5] vid: x^s [10/-] at Michaelmas 1631?? and £3 10 0d at the next feast of the Assumption followed by a final £1 at Michaelmas 1632.
To daughter, Mauld, £5, paid as 50/- at Michaelmas 1632 and a further 50/- at the next feast of the Annunciation.
To granddaughter, Mauld, 20/-.
To wife, Mauld, two kine, one yearling heifer, and all the goods she brought to the marriage.
To Johan, daughter of wife Mauld, one cow.
In addition, to wife, Mauld, two 2 year old bullocks.
'I nominate and appoint Tho. My son to take and receive from John my brother and his assignes all the rents that he oweth me as is specified by a payre of Indentures'.

The documents include a Bond dated 30 November 1631 with bounden Thomas David, yeoman of Michaelchurch Escley and Thomas Rogers of Clodock, yeoman in a surety of £100.
