Description:

1. Will dated 15 November 1832:
Beneficiaries: To son, James, subject to following conditions, all the barn and lands known as 'Caiashaino' currently in the possession of Arnold George from which he must pay £200 to be used:
To pay Mr William Jones of Marlborough Great House, Grosmont due to him by bond
To invest £90 on mortgage or in Government securities as trustee, the interest to be paid to wife, Hannah, for her lifetime and the final £10 for James himself.
On death of the wife the £90 to be divided amongst his grandchildren, £50 to David Meredith with £8 each to Margaret, Henry, Eleanor, Hannah and Thomas Pitt Meredith
To Wife, Hannah, all the Household goods she brought with her on marriage.
All the rest of goods, chattels, moneys, rents etc to be put up for sale by the executor to pay off expenses.

Executor: Son, Henry Pitt of Hay with stepson John Gwillim of the
Wayne as trustee.

This will seems to have been wrapped in a notice of Assessed Taxes for 1833. Will and wrapping sheet; 2 pages in all.
