Photograph of the exterior of Pontys Mill. The remains of the overshot waterwheel can be seen at the bottom right, with the cast iron frames still in place. The leet, which runs parallel to the right hand wall of the mill from this perspective, is dry though its path can be seen clearly heading in an upstream direction for a hundred yards or so, after which the line becomes obscure. No obvious trace of a weir or sluice remains along the river.
