Photograph of a Conveyance dated 1st September 1849 whereby Anna Jane Smith of Sidmouth, Devon, spinster, sold the New House to Jane Johnson, spinster, of Longtown for £115. Anna Jane Smith was the granddaughter of John Rogers, Clerk, deceased, and the Conveyance recites his will through which the property descended to her.
