Office copy of the Will of Thomas Lewis of Longtown dated 18th October 1765.

 

Beneficiaries: to his wife Mary, a legacy of 50 shillings pa for life payable out of messuages called Pont Henry [Ponthendre] in Clodock and Rhyd y te bach [Rhyd-ddu-bach now the Long Barn] in Michaelchurch Escley; to Thomas son of Thomas Powell of Longtown, a legacy of 40 shillings until aged 18 years out of the same.

The messuages themselves to Simon Exton of Michaelchurch Escley gent, subject to the legacies.

 

Will proved: Brecon 9th Nov 1765.
