Description:
The Coronation of King George V and Queen Mary was on 22nd June 1911. A Bonfire was arranged in Longtown to mark the event. Mr & Mrs Alex Johnston of Clodock used a photograph of the prepared fire for their Christmas greetings of December 1911.

Alexander Johnstone [with the ‘e’] is listed as a private resident at Glan Nant, Longtown in the Kelly’s Directories of 1913 and 1917.
