To daughter Blanch, a cow 'known as Browny'.
To Roser Thoams, 4 three yr old wethers.
To Jouhan verch Thomas, a one yr old heifer.
To daughter, Margaret verch John a 3 yr old heifer in order that Margaret can settle the testator's debt of 22/- to Lysod verch Olyver.
To son, Lewis ap John, one brass pot the use of which Margaret has for 3 years or until she marries. If she does not marry within that time then the pot is to pass to grandchild Lewis ap John.
To Lysod verch Olyver, ewe [presumably one ewe]
To Jouhan verch Thomas, one sheep.
To godson, William David, one sheep.
To Sysly verch John, one sheep.
To son Lewis ap John and daughter Margaret, between them whilst Margaret remains where she is, a plough and pair of harnesses. Once Margaret moves out then Lewis to have the equipment to himself.

To son David ap John, one chiverled [coverlet?], one blanket and one carbridel.
To John Oliver, one bedstead, one board and the iron in the ghimley[chimney?].
To Sysley verch John, one flock bed, one bolster and a couple of sheets.
To daughter, Margaret, all my corn and grain of all sorts now in the barn and a coffer.
To daughter, Gwenllian, one flopott [?], one bolster and a couple of sheets.
To daughter, Margaret, 9/6d which is in the hands of Blanch Thomas, one bedstead lying in the solar, an axe, a bill and a hatchet and a couple of platters.
Executor: godson, William David with Margaret as overseer.

2. Inventory: dated 15 November 1621;valued at £11 16 0d [ but comes to £11 6 4d]. Appraisers: David ap John, John William and John Hoskines.
Observations:
This will is a real muddle with live stock and household equipment and furniture all mixed up in the individual legacies. Interestingly he has a solar and that he knows his cows by their colour and gives one a name.
