Place name:

Golden Valley

Date:

2019

Description:

Turnastone was one of the smallest parishes in Herefordshire, with a handful of dwellings and mostly farm pasture land. The church building dates from the late 12th/early 13th century with a south porch, a wooden turret and a handsome barrel roof dated about 1500. A guide book and history leaflet is available at the church. From 2019 the parish has merged with Vowchurch, but the church building continues in use.
