Beneficiaries: All those my freeholds, lands, tenements and hereditaments in the township of Craswall unto my beloved wife Sarah Gilbert and immediately after her decease to my beloved son William Gilbert. Legacies to other children on reaching the age of twenty one: to my son John Gilbert the sum of twenty pounds; to my son Thomas Gilbert the sum of sixty pounds; to my son James Gilbert the sum of sixty pounds; to my daughter Ann Gilbert the sum of sixty pounds; to my daughter Sarah Gilbert the sum of sixty pounds.
