Description:

The indenture describes the loan of £100 from Sir George Cornewall to Walter Prosserwith the Birches as security. Further collateral is provided by his son, Thomas Prosser, using his farm known as Maes Lawen



 

 

This Indenture Tripartite made the thirtieth Day of December in the thirty third year of the Reignof our Sovereign Lord Georgethe third by the grace of God ofGreat Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith and so forth and in the year of our Lord One thousand and seven hundred and ninety two Betweeen Walter Profser of the Township of Craswall in the Parish of Clodock in the County of Hereford Yeoman of the first part Thomas Profser of the same place yeoman only son of the said Walter Profser of the second part and SirGeorge Cornewall of moccas court inthe said county of Hereford Baronet of the third part Whereas the said Walter Profser hath borrowed and taken up at interest of the said Sir George Cornewall the sum of one hundred Pounds and hath for securing the repayment thereof with interest for the same by Indenture of ffeoffmenti bearing even date herewith conveyed unto and to the use of the said Sir George Cornewall and his heirs a certain Mefsuage or Tenement ffarm and lands called Birches situate in the Township of Craswall aforesaid and whereas the said Thomas Profser at the instance and request of the said Walter Profser his said father and in order to accommodate him hath consented and agreed to convey unto the said Sir George Cornewall as an additional or colateral security for the said principal sum of one hundred pounds                                                                                    and the interest thereof a certain mefsuage or cottage with the lands and hereditaments thereunto belonging of which he is seised in fee simple situate in the said Township of Craswall hereinafter mentioned and intended to be hereby granted and demised now this Indenture witnesseth that for the further better and more effectual securing to the said Sir George Cornewall hisExecutors administrators and afsigns the repayment of the said sum of Onehundred pounds

so lent and advancedby the said Sir George Cornewall to the said Walter Profser as aforesaid and the Interest thereof according to the proviso contained in the

said Indenture of even date herewith and also for and in consideration of the sum of five shillings of lawfulmoney of GreatBritain to the said Thomas Profserin hand paid by the said Sir George Cornewall at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged He the said Thomas Profser Hath granted bargained sold and demised and by these presents Doth grant bargain and sell and demise unto the said Sir George Cornewall his Executors admorsii and afsigns All that Mefsuage Tenement or Cottage with the lands and hereditaments thereunto belonging commonly called or known by the name of Maes lawons------------- situate lying and being in the Township of Craswall in the

parish of Clodock in the County of Hereford aforesaid now in pofsefsion or Occupation of Thomas profser and also all Houses Outhouses barns Stables gardens orchards lands arable meadows leasows pastures feedings Commons Common of Pasture woods underwoods ways waters watercourses easements profits privileges commodities advantages and appurtsiii whatsoever to the said Messuage Tenement or Cottage hereby granted and demisedbelonging or in any wise appertaining and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders rents ifsues and profits thereof To have and to hold the said Messuage Tenement or Cottage lands heriditaments and all and singular the premises hereby granted and demised or intended so to be and every part and parcel thereof with their and every of their appurtenances unto the said Sir George Cornewall his Executors administrators and afsigns from the day next before the day of the date of these presents for and during and unto the full end and term of five hundred years from thence next ensuing and fully to be complete and ended without impeachment of or for any manner of wastiv In witness whereof the said Parties to these presents have hereunto interchangeably set their Hands and Seals the Day and Year first above written./.-
