Observations

As this is taken from a copy of the will deposited at the Prerogative Court of Canterbury there are no supporting documents.
This is unusual as it is not presented as a will with the usual rubric concerning belief in and commending his soul to the Almighty. The title of the document, with the date, is written in enlarged and bold text, as shown above. The contents are very short; one can only speculate that this might be a copy made from memory by the witnesses (there are an unusual number of them and no indication of signature) after the death of the testator, the original will having been destroyed in some way before it could be produced for probate.
