Beneficiaries: To son, James, all the leasehold lands held from the Marquess of Abergavenny, but if he dies before attaining 21 then the lands to go to son, John. Also one bed, bedstead and bedclothes and a large kettle all in the white chamber.
To son, John, The Turnant in Llanveynoe, as purchased from Mary Phillips, unless John dies before he reaches 21 in which case it to go to James. John is to pay two legacies on reaching 21. £200 to his brother Roger and £50 to be divided equally between his sisters Catherine, Anne and Elizabeth (son and daughters of the testator).
To son, William, £8 per year for 3 years provided he gives up his rights to the copyhold lands held from the Marquess of Abergavenny in favour of James. He is to live with his brother, James.
To the three daughters, all the money on hand and due and owed to the testator to be equally divided and paid to each as she reaches 18. In the meantime the interest is to be used for their maintenance and schooling.
To daughter Catherine, her grandmother's bed.
All other goods cattle and chattels to be divided between the daughters.
Any residue to James.
