To the repair of the chapel at Llanvynoe, 3/4d
To his wife, Joane his messuage and tenement in Llanveynoe. where he lives, for her lifetime on the understanding that she will mortgage all or part of it to raise £15 to settle all his debts.
On the death of his wife the premises are to pass to Zachary Gilbert if he pays the said £15 to Joane. The money to be disposed of at her pleasure. Zachary and his legitimate heirs get the messuage for ever. If Zachary has no legitimate heirs then the premises pass to the testator's brother, William Powell and his legitimate heirs. If William has no legitimate heirs then the testator's right heirs get the place.

To William Gilbert, one ewe.
To Francis David Morgan, one ewe.
To John Price, one ewe.
To brother, William, a sucking filley colt.

The documents include a bond dated
It is difficult to understand exactly why Joan was to be given £15 at her death unless as suggested it was to permit her to leave it as she wants.
