Description:
Conveyance of Clodock Mill [otherwise Lower Mill] in the township of Longtown in the parish of Clodock, County of Hereford, dated 7th May 1890, made between Henry Miles of Longtown, Miller, and William Davies of Pontys Mill, Longtown, Miller. The conveyance refers to an indenture of 3 August 1867 between Ann [?Lilwall], Ann Harris and Henry Miles granting the property to Henry Miles. It includes “all that messuage or dwelling house with the stable, watermill, and premises thereto belonging known by the name of Clodock Mill” together with four acres two roods and thirty perches of land adjoining. The property and lands are described as numbered 822 and 823 in the Tithe map for the parish, “are now and have been for many years in the occupation of the said Henry Miles”, and are conveyed to the use of William Davies and his heirs in fee simple for the sum of six hundred and twenty pounds.
