Photographs of a 1756 Office Copy of the Will and two Codicils, all dated 20 August 1750, of Charles Noel, 4th Duke of Beaufort, including disposition of Poston manor, extracted from the Registry of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury.

Items referred to include furniture at Badminton and Beaufort House to go with the houses, and also Netheravon; settlement of real estate; manor of Poston has been sold to Shuckburgh Boughton and the Duchess is to accept other lands in lieu for her jointure, and a settlement of the manor is to be made on Shuckburgh Boughton; the planting of trees at Badminton to continue during minority and executors to spend up to £400 p.a. for that purpose; diamond necklace and earrings bequeathed to him by 3rd Duke, to Duchess during widowhood, then to Marquess of Worcester; to Duchess all jewels he has given her for her own use, India cabinet with the china and 'two silver flower pots with sprigs of flowers given her by her mother,' and 2 Japan tables, also given her by her mother, 1000 oz of plate, cutlery, best landau and chariot and coach and saddle horses
