Unproven will of James Price of the Farm, Abergavenny. [Formerly of Vineyards farm, Walterstone].

This is the last will and Testament of me James Price of the Farm in the parish of Abergavenny Gentleman I give and bequeath unto my three Nieces Mary Fisher widow  Elizabeth Jones the wife of John Jones and Elizabeth Goulstone the wife of John Goulstone the sum of one hundred and fifty pounds  apiece Unto my nieces Sarah Watkins the wife of Marmy Watkins shoemaker and Ann Price and my nephew James Price three children of my late brother William Price the sum of one hundred pounds apiece Unto my nephew William Price another s/o my said brother William Price the sum of fifty pounds and unto Margaret Powell of the parish of Llanellin the sum  of five pounds and my bedstead and two pair of sheets All the rest residue and remainder of my personal Estate and effect of what nature or kind so-ever and wherever I give and bequeath unto my nephew James Price of the town of Abergavenny Druggist his executors administrators and assigns subject never the less to the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses And I direct that the expense of proving this my will shall be borne and paid in equal portions by my said nephew James Price Druggist and my said three nieces Mary Fisher Elizabeth Jones and Elizabeth Goulstone And I appoint my said nephew James Price Druggist sole executor of this my will hereby revoking all former wills by me heretofore made and declaring this only to be my last will and Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto  set my hand and seal this Twenty second day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty four.

This will was revoked and another made in 1840, in consequence of a loss of nearly 200£ following the failure of the late Mr Charles Price Ironmonger.
