The mannor of Wilbrook otherwise Wirkbrook on the part of John Delahay esq.
At the Court Leet of our sovereign lord the king and also the court baron of John Delahay esq. lord of the said mannor held at Peterchurch at the dwelling house of Thomas Draper within the aforesaid mannor the 21st day of October in the eighth year of the reign of our sovereign lord George the second by the grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland king defender of the faith etc. And in the year of our lord 1734. Before Thomas Williams gent steward.

Imprimis We the jurors sworn & impannelled to enquire for our sovereign lord the king and the lord of this mannor Do present as followeth.
First we present that George Parry , Lewis Powell, John Draper Blacksmith & John Probert tenants of this mannor who owe suit & service to this court & have been severally duly summoned in person to appear at this court as appears by the oath of the bayleif of this mannor. That they & every of them made default and for such their default we amerce them & each of them in the sum of [ ]s [ d ] [ ]
And the same was afterwards affeared at 2s 0d each.
Also we present John Draper of the parish of Peterchurch blacksmith for erecting a smith’s shop within this mannor made with stone timber & tyle upon the common king’s highway in the said parish of Peterchurch leading from the town of Ross in this county to the town of the Hay & in the county of Brecon within six months last past & for continuing the same to this time to the common nuisance of his majesties subjects passing that way & we lay a penalty of xxxixs upon the said John Draper to be levied upon his goods & chattels in case he does not remove the same in one month after notice hereof. And that William Roberts certifies the observance thereof at the next court under like penalty.
