Thomas Realey is shown as Miller & Farmer of 18 Acres at Michaelchurch Mill. Since the 1871 census he has additional children Tom P. Realey aged 8, Mary G. Realey aged 7 and Bertha A. Realey aged 3. His eldest son William J. Realey is shown as still resident, and is styled as “Farmer and Miller’s Son”, so he is probably working in the mill at least part-time.
