Lease for lives, Sept 3, 1800.

(1) James Lloyd of Longtown, yeoman

(2) Edmund Lewis of par Clodock, yeoman

(3) Robert Morgan Kinsey of Abergavenny co Mon, esq, steward to Rt Hon Henry earl of Abergavenny, for the manor of Ewyas Lacy, co Hereford

Recites D.1583.2.100 (only James Lloyd surviving of the 3 lives) and a lease of 25 May, 1742, whereby William, then Lord of Abergavenny, demised to Ann Lloyd, widow, a half acre of land on Lower Mescoed, then in her possession, for the lives of James Lloyd and Hannah and Elizabeth, son and daughters of the said Ann Lloyd (all still living) at the rent of 1/-.  (2) has contracted to purchase the said leasehold premises from (1) for £20.

(1) sells to (2) with the consent of (3) the property described in 2.100 for 99 years, if the said James, Hannah and Elizabeth Lloyd shall so long live.  Rent as above.

Endorsed: Receipt of £20 from (2). Witnesses, W Marsh of Newton, Clodock, and Joan Morgan, servant to W Marsh.
