Indenture dated 29th March 1777 between

1)        Stephen Watkins and John Gilbert both of Lanveino, yeomen

2)        Phillip Perrot the Elder and Phillip Perrot the Younger of Lanveino, yeomen

 

Witnesseth that by an Indenture dated 1776, Walter Jeffreys of Brecon hath sold to 1) several tenements: one messuage where Stephen Watkins lives; a cottage and land called Tere James Poiskins lands; a parcel of lands called Gworlod Edward or Cae Edward.

All were late part of the Herefordshire Estates of John Jeffreys the late Lord of the Manor of Ewyas Lacy and were lately purchased together with the said Manor or Estates by the said Walter Jeffreys heir at law of John Jeffreys under a decree of the High Court of Chancery. The Indenture granted a right of way to 1) to the land called Gworlod Edward over land the property of 2) called Cae Levven.

 

By this Indenture, 1) quit their claim to this right of way in return for other detailed provisions.
