Found amongst a collection of unattributed document photographs, this extract refers to copyholds and leaseholds granted by the Earl of Abergavenny in St Margarets, Michaelchurch Escley, Craswall, Upper Maescoed, Lower Maescoed, Newton, Longtown, Walterstone, Llanveynoe, the Fwthog, and Forest Hene.
Tenants’ names and holdings are given with cross-reference to the tithe maps to identify the land held. Comments include lives, rents, alienation, heriots, acreage and related observations.
