Epitome of excursion into Herefordshire by Wm Delves [presumably Land Agent for Lord Abergavenny] setting out notes of his inspection of leased property in Longtown, Craswall, Michaelchurch Escley and Newton carried out on 16th 18th and 21st December 1868. The notes variously include descriptions, extent and names of properties, names of tenants, lives remaining and rack rents.

 

Properties named include Longtown School, Longtown Castle, Forest Hene, Cwm Steps, Upper House, Trewern, Little Blackhill, Old House [Michaelchurch], Rhydunog, Pontymoody, Lower Maescoed and Upper Maescoed.
