Will included: Yes, dated 20 March 1741

 

Beneficiaries: Martha my well beloved wife all that messuage or tenement and lands holden of me by lease of the Lord Bergavenny and mentioned when granted to be in the possession of Mathew Powell, and after her decease to John Davies my nephew during the remainder of the lease. Bequest of forty shillings apiece to: Henry, James, William, Samuel, Mary and Ann the sons and daughters of my brother John Davies; James the grandson of the said John Davies; Mary the daughter of Shem Watkins; John Morgan my wife’s nephew; John and Samuel the sons of William Powell; William, Walter and Elizabeth the sons and daughter of William Davies my brother. Bequest of three pounds apiece to: William and Mary the son and daughter of William Powell; Edward Davies my brother.
