Introductory Note: Guest Contributions

A number of organisations have conducted archaeological studies in Ewyas Lacy (covering the parishes of Clodock [including Craswall, Llanveynoe and Longtown], Llancillo, Michaelchurch Escley, Newton [including St Margarets], Rowlestone and Walterstone) and in neighbouring areas. This represents a significant body of knowledge about local archaeology which, thanks to the willing cooperation of the sponsoring organisations, we are pleased to be able to present as a single collection for community access.
